Tekashi 6ix9ine Continues Accusing Lil Durk of Using Von’s Name to Sell New Album

Tekashi 6ix9ine is on Lil Durk’s case again, doubling down on his accusations that Durkio is using his friend’s King Von and cousin Nuski’s death to drive up the sales of his new album. The comments have put Tekashi on the wrong side of hip hop fans just as he began to get on people’s good side.

Since getting out of jail and recovering from the controversy of his flop album TattleTales, Tekashi has been arguably out of the game. But that has not stopped him from taunting Lil Durk, who has been having a good year, especially since dropping the highly-anticipated album The Voice.

Last week, Tekashi tweeted that Durk was using King Von’s name for sales, finishing the tweet with, “KING VON REST IN PISS.” Today, he doubled down on that accusation in a comment left on Dj Akademiks Instagram post about the sales of Durk’s new album The Voice.

The photo DJ Akademiks shared claimed that Durk’s album had 23k sales in the first week. Tekashi commented, “Nuski and Von died for this?”

However, before commenting, Tekashi probably didn’t read the caption, which stated that the sales were from the first of the album’s release last Thursday. There has been confusion about the actual first-week sales of the album. See, typically, artists drop albums on Friday. So the figures from the sales might be excluding the first day sales.

We are not sure about Tekashi’s opinion, but pulling 23k album sales in one day is pretty impressive. Even Lil Yachty agrees — he commented, “W one of sales, Durk the [Goat].”

Meanwhile, Durkio is proud of his success this year. He wrote that the “trenches are behind” him forever.

DaBaby's Run-Ins With The Law

Ever since his commercial success in 2019, DaBaby’s star has been shining brighter and brighter. After the release of Suge which put him on the map, the artist has released bop after bop.

Fans love him not only for the catchy beats in his tracks but also for his catchy raps. Every song he features in or works on turns to magic. Despite having so much favour with fans, he has not had so much favour with the law.

Shoot and Kill – Huntersville, North Carolina

DaBaby whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk has had a couple of legal troubles. His most severe legal run-in dates back to 2018. He shot and killed a 19-year-old man in Huntersville, North Carolina while shopping with his baby mama and two children.

The artist who claimed the incident was an act of self-defence was only found guilty of a misdemeanour of carrying a concealed weapon. This was after the more serious charges were dropped in March 2019. He was sentenced to one year of unsupervised probation.

Battery in Connection with Robbery – Miami

DaBaby’s other run-in with the law was when he was arrested and charged with battery in connection to a robbery investigation in January 2020. The robbery was after a promoter paid DaBaby $20,000 instead of $30,000. The State reported that DaBaby and his associates took $80 cash, an iPhone 7 and credit card from the promoter. The rapper spent 48 hours in Miami-Dade County jail before being released.

King von lost his life in a shooting incident last year in November. Ever since then, many people have come out to talk about how they knew the rapper, including his former girlfriend Asian doll.

According to Asian Doll, King Von was her boyfriend, but King von’s sister seems to have different sentiments.

Asian Doll and Von’s best friend Lil Durk even gave the late rapper’s kids gifts on Christmas.

Kayla B took to Twitter, claiming that her brother was dating nobody before he died. She wrote, “Von wasn’t in a relationship wit nobody before he died, Wasn’t getting back wit nobody he was living his best life fuckin wit who Eva he wanted 2.”

Kayla’s sentiments contradict Doll’s story. Asian Doll claims that King Von told her last words before he died.

In a separate message she wrote, “My heart is gone I’m just a empty soul in a human body I rather die than to feel this pain. I CANT TAKE IT IM NOT STRONG ENOUGH VON.”

We can’t deny that Von’s relationship with Asian Doll was the rapper’s last public relationship, but whether the two were still dating or not before his death remains a mystery.

Ayo, I had to get somethin’ off my chest; Benny The Butcher starts in his song 3:30 in Houston.

Benny has been vocal about his feelings towards people who share their moves and other rappers’ moves online, including Wendy Williams.

F**k all the bloggers, the n-gas who shot me

F**k all the apps, and f**k Wendy Williams.

Just yesterday, the rapper shared a short clip spelling out the difference between real n**ga and ordinary people.

With a joint between his lips, the rapper said,

You n-gas who be in the comments, running ya mouth thinkin’ y’all know everything? Swearing y’all street n-ggas? That’s rule No. 1, a street n-gga never speak on shit he know nothin’ about. And y’all n-ggas think an-gga ‘sposed to post every aspect of his life? C’mon man, y’all n-gas can’t be in the streets for real. Stop that.”

According to him, people who go announcing their plans on social media posting everything about their lives, and talking about other people are not supposed to be doing that and still claim to be ‘street nig**s.’
