He served us his first Man On The Moon series back in 2009 (The End of Day), then debuted his second one (The Legend of Mr. Rager) in 2010, and to complete the trilogy, Kid Cudi recently blessed us with Man on The Moon III: The Chosen.

MOTMIII is the rapper’s 7th album, and he dropped it on the 11th of December this year. MOTMIII  might top the Billboard 200 chart at No.2 as it sold up to 175 thousand album-equivalent units.

In the project, Cudi features stars like Skepta, Trippie Redd, and the late Pop Smoke.

In an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, Kid Cudi revealed how the project came into existence, adding that he aimed to make problems people go through sound good and reassure his fans that they are not alone.

In two of his MOTMIII tracks (Heaven on Earth and She knows This),  Kudi uses snippets from The Pursuit of Happyness (a 2006 film starring Will and Jaden Smith)

Terming his MOTMIII album the most important project of his career, Cudi will also be part of Playboi Carti’s Whole Lotta Red album set to drop on Christmas day.

What do you think about the album? Was it worth the wait? Please share your thoughts with us via our comments section.

This year seems to be the year celebrities break up. It started with KimYe split up rumors that were later confirmed by the celebrity couple, and now, Future and Dess Dior were supposedly having relationship problems.

You can relax, though, as these are just internet rumors (but we all know that the internet never lies, right?).

The two unfollowed each other on Instagram, but Future revealed recently that the rumors were false by posting a picture of his girlfriend’s music. Is that enough, though?

Jayda has also made some appearances in Dior’s music videos, including her successful Talk To Me.

Future informed us that his girlfriend would be dropping DON’T PLAY and on the caption of the post, Future, 37, penned, “Big DESS dnt play that sh*t #SOON.”

Dess Dior seems to have her future figured out. See what we did there?

We will keep you updated on the couple’s love life and their careers, so be sure to stick around.

Back to Erica now, the 21-year-old rapper from Dallas has people, including celebrities, vibing to her song.

The #BussItChallenge is simple, get in front of the camera, do some crazy dancing in a non-sexy outfit (preferably) as the intro plays. When Erica Banks commands you to Buss It, you crouch in a sexy outfit or not, and you can twerk for the internet.

Celebrities that jumped on to the #BussItChallenge include Joseline Hernandez, Renni Rucci, and American actress Gabrielle Union

Seems like the third time’s the charm! After being postponed twice, Ashanti and Keyshia Cole’s Verzuz date is finally confirmed. The RnB-themed Verzuz battle is set to be on Thursday, January 21 at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT.

The music platform took to their Instagram account to share the set date for the Verzuz battle between the two RnB titans. The post was a flyer of the event and its caption read,

“RAIN, SLEET, HAIL, SNOW LET’S GO. Join us Thursday, January 21, as we kick off the first #VERZUZ of 2021 with @Ashanti and @KeyshiaCole. Thank you everyone for being patient with us. We can’t wait for this magical night with Keyshia and Ashanti!”

The battle’s first battle was set to be on December 12 but had to be canceled when Ashanti was diagnosed with COVID-19. Luckily, she recovered in a couple of months.

She shared news of her recovery on her Instagram on January 2. She wrote, “Starting off the new year amazing and COVID free!!! Got my negative results back [two] days ago!”

The musical battle was then rescheduled to go down this past weekend but was rescheduled due to the spiking of the Coronavirus cases and unrest due to the Capitol Hill chaos. The music platform in a statement shared,

“This has been an emotional week. In addition, as COVID-19 numbers continue to increase, safety is a top priority for us. As much as we enjoy having everyone together in the same room, to protect the artists and everyone who works with us in putting the shows together, we’ll be going back to separate locations for a bit.”

The statement announced that the Versuz battle will have the two artists work from different locations, unlike in the same room as the past Versuz battles, to ensure everyone’s safety amid the pandemic.

Lil Nas X has achieved yet another historic milestone. His debut single “Old Town Road” featuring Bill Ray Cyrus makes history as the highest certified song ever. The country-rap song went 14 times Platinum. The song is past diamond status and was the quickest song to ever do so.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the single has sold over 14 million units since its initial release in December 2018. A unit is equal to a single digit song sale or 150 on-demand audio and/or video streams.

The song also made history back in 2019, topping the Billboard Hot 100 charts for 19 consecutive weeks. This is still the longest a song has ever dominated the charts.

Lil Nas X also became the first openly gay Black male rapper to receive a Country Music Award. His debut single won him and Cyrus two Grammys for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Music Video in 2020.
