Is KimYe Officially Over? Divorce Is On The Table For Kim Kardashian and Kanye West
Seems like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have not been able to work through their marriage’s rough patch.
The couple tied the knot in 2014. According to TMZ, the couple whose marriage has been in deep trouble for the last half of 2020, have both given up.
Sources state that the couple is in marriage counselling with “divorce on the table.” However, Kim has top divorce lawyer, Laura Wasser on retainer but, has not given the green light to file for divorce.
However, Page Six reported that the couple after four adorable children are getting a divorce citing from sources that Kim is “done.” Page Six reported that the couple has tried to keep their divorce under wraps but are in fact done. “Kim has hired Laura Wasser, and they are in settlement talks,” says their source.
Another Page Six source claimed that Kanye is irritated by the Kardashian’s over the top reality star lives and found the reality show unbearable. “(He) Is completely over the entire family … He wants nothing to do with them,” claims the source.
People reported that Kanye “knows that she(Kim) is done” and he “knows that it’s coming soon.” According to the source, Kanye is sad, but he knows that the divorce will inevitably happen.
Will Kim and Kanye get a divorce? Will KimYe be no more? No one knows for sure. We’ll just have to wait and see. Here’s what we know though, the two have been living separate lives for a few months now and have both been absorbed in their own projects.
Kanye has been spending most of his time in Wyoming while Kim has been in Calabasas with their kids. The two even spent their holidays separate, but Kanye did make an appearance at Kim’s 40th birthday where he had the infamous hologram gift.
The couple’s share of struggles has been linked to Kanye’s mental health battles. The couple have four children: North(born 2013), Saint(born 2015), Chicago(born 2018) and Psalm(born 2019).
This year seems to be the year celebrities break up. It started with KimYe split up rumors that were later confirmed by the celebrity couple, and now, Future and Dess Dior were supposedly having relationship problems.
You can relax, though, as these are just internet rumors (but we all know that the internet never lies, right?).
The two unfollowed each other on Instagram, but Future revealed recently that the rumors were false by posting a picture of his girlfriend’s music. Is that enough, though?
You heard that right. Dess has decided to put some seriousness into her music. The 22-year-old started rapping when she was twelve. Her best friend Jayda, Lil Baby’s baby mama, was in the same rap group.
Jayda has also made some appearances in Dior’s music videos, including her successful Talk To Me.
Future informed us that his girlfriend would be dropping DON’T PLAY and on the caption of the post, Future, 37, penned, “Big DESS dnt play that sh*t #SOON.”

Seems like the third time’s the charm! After being postponed twice, Ashanti and Keyshia Cole’s Verzuz date is finally confirmed. The RnB-themed Verzuz battle is set to be on Thursday, January 21 at 8 pm ET/5 pm PT.
The music platform took to their Instagram account to share the set date for the Verzuz battle between the two RnB titans. The post was a flyer of the event and its caption read,
“RAIN, SLEET, HAIL, SNOW LET’S GO. Join us Thursday, January 21, as we kick off the first #VERZUZ of 2021 with @Ashanti and @KeyshiaCole. Thank you everyone for being patient with us. We can’t wait for this magical night with Keyshia and Ashanti!”
The battle’s first battle was set to be on December 12 but had to be canceled when Ashanti was diagnosed with COVID-19. Luckily, she recovered in a couple of months.
She shared news of her recovery on her Instagram on January 2. She wrote, “Starting off the new year amazing and COVID free!!! Got my negative results back [two] days ago!”
The musical battle was then rescheduled to go down this past weekend but was rescheduled due to the spiking of the Coronavirus cases and unrest due to the Capitol Hill chaos. The music platform in a statement shared,
“This has been an emotional week. In addition, as COVID-19 numbers continue to increase, safety is a top priority for us. As much as we enjoy having everyone together in the same room, to protect the artists and everyone who works with us in putting the shows together, we’ll be going back to separate locations for a bit.”
The statement announced that the Versuz battle will have the two artists work from different locations, unlike in the same room as the past Versuz battles, to ensure everyone’s safety amid the pandemic.

Lil Nas X has achieved yet another historic milestone. His debut single “Old Town Road” featuring Bill Ray Cyrus makes history as the highest certified song ever. The country-rap song went 14 times Platinum. The song is past diamond status and was the quickest song to ever do so.
According to the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), the single has sold over 14 million units since its initial release in December 2018. A unit is equal to a single digit song sale or 150 on-demand audio and/or video streams.
The song also made history back in 2019, topping the Billboard Hot 100 charts for 19 consecutive weeks. This is still the longest a song has ever dominated the charts.
Lil Nas X also became the first openly gay Black male rapper to receive a Country Music Award. His debut single won him and Cyrus two Grammys for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance and Best Music Video in 2020.
Lil Nas X took to Twitter to announce the good news after the big win went viral. The 21-year-old on January 9th tweeted, “OLD TOWN ROAD IS OFFICIALLY 14 TIMES PLATINUM! MOST PLATINUMS FOR ANY SONG EVER! LETS GOOO!”
Billy Ray also shared the good news with his Twitter followers. He tweeted,
“Incredible. I’m speechless. #OTR is now 14x platinum and the most certified song in music history. Thank YOU! @LilNasX @YoungKio @Dopebyaccident @theRonPerry @ColumbiaRecords @bolooki.”
Previously, the highest certified songs were John Legend’s All Of Me and Luis Fonsi’s Despacito, which featured Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber. Both songs were certified 13 times Platinum.
