Mike Tyson Is Accused Of Being ‘Stoned Off His Cake’ During A Uk Morning Interview, Where He Kept Falling Asleep And Slurring Words

Published

on

Sipa USA via AP

The former undisputed world champion appeared a little sleepy and weary in a morning interview with the UK ‘Good Morning Britain’, a British morning TV show with hosts Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid. Tyson was disconnected and hard to understand as he appeared to mumble his way through the interview.

This happened on 13 Oct, where Mike Tyson kept falling asleep and slurring words, which led fans to assume that the boxing legend was high and stoned.

Steering fans to sharing concerns on Twitter with one user writing, “What is going on with Mike Tyson? Tired, Punch Drunk or too much Charlie?”

Well, it wouldn’t be surprising for the champion to be stoned given that he has talked about how much marijuana he has done before and how much he likes to party.

As for the slurring words, Tyson might just be worn out and tired from working out and training in his 50s. The former heavyweight champion has put his body through a punishing training regime in order to lose 130 pounds ahead of an exhibition fight against his fellow boxing legend, Roy Jones Jr

Mike has also been on an endless promotional tour following his anticipated return to the ring in the upcoming fight.

In just six weeks, 54-year-old Tyson is due to exchange blows with RJ Jr. in an event that could be the start of an exhibition explosion of older fighters.

Tyson said that his series of slurred answers were as a result of late-night exhaustion.

In a recent tweet, Mike Tyson addressed claims of him looking weary and sleepy in the interview, issuing an apology addressed to the GMC TV show host, Piers Morgan.

He wrote, “Hey mate … I tried to stay up late for interview but fell asleep and like a lion I’m hard to wake once asleep.

Training hard and going to bed early. I had no monitor so I couldn’t see you guys and forgot to look into camera,” added Tyson.

In response to Tyson’s tweet, Morgan wrote, “No problem, Champ.”

We could see you were a bit weary! It was very late in LA. Appreciate this message as some viewers were concerned,” said Morgan.

Everything We Know About Migos’ New Album

Published

on

mIGOS
Migos: Quavo, Offset and Takeoff. Photograph: David Rams

Previously known as “Culture 3,” the album is yet to be released by the Atlanta trio. Below is everything we know about the project.

When Migos launched Culture’s debut chapter in 2017, the trio received so much love and praise. Songs like “Bad and Boujee” became became modern classics even earning the group the title “The Beatles Of This Generation ” which was dubbed by Donald Glover. Their style of rap and fashion largely influenced the rap industry.

In 2018 as they were releasing Culture II, their favour had dipped and many were growing to resent Migos. Many felt that they were more concerned with short term gain rather than creating long lasting work. Songs like “Narcos”, “Motorsport” and “Walk It Talk It” proved that the group still had hit-making juices in them.

People had grown tired of the Migos sound by 2018 and it didn’t help that Quavo and Takeoff had released their solo albums. The group had originally intended to release Culture III in 2019 but made a decision to delay it to 2020. 2020 is coming to an end but Culture III is still nowhere in sight.

While on an interview with Lil Wayne on the Young Money Radio series, Migos confirmed that YoungBoy was part of “Need It” which is in the Culture III album. They also said they would change the name from Culture III.

We ain’t dropped it in two years. We’re just warming up. We gon’ change the name. We gon’ push Culture III, the title, back. We changing the name this time.”

The changing of the album’s may suggest a shift in the group’s creative direction. In April 2020, Quavo seemed to change the gears when he vowed to return to the crew’s formative years with a new mixtape, a “Quarantine Mixtape” is what he called it. Months have passed without any sign of the mixtape.

In terms of collaborations, only the YoungBoy collaboration is confirmed. Back in December 2019, Offset had teased a collaboration with Juice WRLD in a song called “What’s Bracking.” It’s uncertain if the track still holds a spot. There was also recent footage of Quavo in studio with Dr.Dre and Post Malone but it’s not clear if they were meeting for this album. But in case the trio is in need of collaborations for Culture III, they can easily call in favors.

Cannabis 101: Choosing the Perfect Weed Strain

Published

on

Weed weed strain cannabis

Which weed strain are you looking for? This should be the question your chrontact (weed plug) asks you before you make a kush purchase.

If you are not aware of the different weed strains and their effects, hakuna matata, you have come to the right page.

First you have to understand that marijuana is not equally created and depending on certain factors like amount and tolerance, your effects may differ from another person’s.

That said, Cannabis is divided into three categories: Indica, sativa and hybrid. This article gives you their effects and the different examples of strains in each category.

What are the Different Strains of Weed?

1.Indica

This strain gives users a relaxing effect. It acts as a sedative and relieves pain and insomnia. Patients with chronic pain use these strains as well because of its relation to pain relief.

Indica strains include:

  • Bubba Kush
  • Godfather OG
  • Afghan Kush
  • LA confidential
  • Northern lights
  •  Hindu Kush

Fun fact: The Grandfather OG is the strongest Indica strain with 34% THC composition.

2. Sativa

If you’re looking to be energized and uplifted then the sativa strain is for you. This strain is a good suggestion for those trying to be social, focused or creative.

Some of the common cannabis sativa strains include;

  • Pineapple Express
  •  Acapulco gold
  • Blue dream
  •  Durban poison
  •  Green crack
  •  Strawberry cough.

3. Hybrid

If you are lukewarm in your decision as to whether you want high energy levels or to be really relaxed, then the hybrid strain is your preferred selection.

This strain offers a combination of both Sativa and Indica effects, although one can get more energized or more relaxed, depending on the side the strain has leaned on more.

Like in the examples below, the Granddaddy Purple has more of the Indica effects compared to the Sour Diesel strain which has more of the Sativa effects. Others like the Fruity Pebbles however, remain at the centre of the scale, giving a balance of the effects

Examples of the hybrid strain include;

  • White Widow
  • Maui Wowie
  • Granddaddy 0urple
  • Fruity Pebbles
  • Wedding Cake
  • Sour Diesel

Now that you have an idea of what works for you, tell us through our comments section whether you found this article helpful.

Cannabis 101: What are the Side Effects of Using Weed?

Published

on

Canabis Weed Marijuana

Legal or not, before consuming weed, it is good to be aware of the effects of indulging in the herb, or anything else for that matter.

Once you use pot, the THC compound that is responsible for the high feeling, goes into the bloodstream and users may feel its effects almost instantly.

A lot of factors can determine highness levels and experiences in different people. Among these factors are the amount of dosage, method of consumption, your tolerance and believe it or not, the environment you are smoking in.

So you are now high on information. Here are some short and long term effects you may experience.

6 Side Effects of Using Weed

1. Increased Appetite (Munchies)

After smoking a joint or consuming edibles, your appetite is affected as you might experience a sudden strong desire to eat. Research says this happens when the THC meets the part of your brain that affects your appetite.

2. Cotton/DryMouth

Scientifically known as Xerostomia, the dry mouth, according to scientific study, is caused by cannabinoid from pot which reduces the secretion of saliva when it gets attached to receptors in the salivary glands.

3. Changes in Mood

Again, this varies in different people. One might experience paranoia, random thinking, forgetfulness, anxiety and lack of time sense.

A few hours after using pot however, these feelings might reduce.

4. Relaxation

Whilst some people experience panic attacks and feelings of paranoia, some experience a calm and very relaxed feeling.

Some experience both and the fun fact is that you can balance the panic. What do we mean? THC as we know by now, is responsible for the high while CBD has no high, you can calm your anxiety by taking a CBD dose. Immediately, your anxiety will disappear almost immediately.

5. Pain Relief

There are ongoing studies about the long term effects of Cannabis on pain. So far however, medical marijuana is being used in hospitals for patients with illnesses like Glaucoma, Alzheimer’s, cancer and generally to reduce chronic pain.

6. Clinical Depression

Study continues to show that despite weed reducing depression, it may end up worsening it in the long run. The antidepressant characteristics associated with weed might have overshadowed the possible fact that it may actually be a cause of mental issues like drug induced psychosis for instance. Let us wait and see where the research on the relationship between weed and mental health will take us.

Before You take Weed…..

In Summary, before you start any drug, make sure you know the pros and cons of indulging in it. What may work for another person may not work for you. You could study different strains of weed before deciding on what you will settle for.

What do you think about weed smoking? What was your first experience? Talk to us.
