Chicago native Polo G outwardly flexes his worth after revealing how much he presently charges for a feature.

On Thursday, October 8, Polo tweeted, “I’m a business man befo anything,” followed by, “Features 85 Rackzz but the price keep goin up.”

The 2020 XXL Freshman revealed that he does not appear on a track for any amount less than $85,000. Coming off his latest studio project, The GOAT, which ranked number 2 on the Billboard 200 chart back in May, Polo G has certainly displayed his confidence through the above statement.

Polo G recalls his past charges for a feature through another tweet where he writes, “I remember doin features fa 200$; Grind Neva Stop,” concluded the rapper.

The Midwest rapper is not the first artist to share his charging rates for a feature or show booking. Back in July, Lil Durk also revealed his present booking fee to be $100,000. “I’m going up 100k a show when they say we can do em,” tweeted Lil Durk at the time. “Remember this tweet,” He added.

This social media flex made by Polo G brings us back to reminisce on the remarks made by Lil baby in June when he said, “At this point it’s safe to say I want 100k for a feature.”

Lil Baby, who teamed up with Polo and Lil Durk on the song “3 Headed Goat” this year, affirmed his message via Twitter, “Ima feel offended if you want a verse from me but don’t got a 100k …. ‘respect my hustle,‘” wrote Baby.

Rapper DaBaby charges at least $100,000 as well. He stated this during an interview with L.A. Leakers Last September; he said he needs at least six figures for a feature.

DaBaby has finally clapped backed at people who accuse him of having a singular flow. He said his flow had earned him more dollars than Instagram followers.

The whole thing started when the North Carolina rapper replied to a tweet about custom Pokémon cards by designer Kxng. The rapper wrote, “Better switch yo life and stop playing with them pussy ass Pokémon cards.

Kxng replied, “Better switch your flow.” The comment struck the wrong nerve as DaBaby responded with a series of tweets addressing the “singular flow” critiques accuse him of.

Do y’all squares be forreal,” he wrote after tweeting three laughing emoji.

Y’all know dis flow Top 5 hottest in the game right now right?” he added. “Y’all know this flow got Baby more followers than Instagram followers right?”

He wasn’t done. He suggested that he would start caring more about what people say about him online.

The 2020 BET’s Best Male Hip-hop Artist winner has long ignored online rumors and criticism. But that changed last Saturday.

TI has just released a new album and confirmed an urban legend that one of his friends peed on Drake during a quarrel a decade ago, in one of the songs.

Last Friday, the legendary artist released a new album. In one of the songs, We Did It Big, featuring pop star John Legend, TI remembers fun times with lost friends. One line confirmed the long-standing rumor that his late friend Cap peed on Drake during a drunken altercation that happened ten years ago.

As the story goes, the embarrassing incident happened during the shooting of the 2010 film Takers. Cap, Tip’s friend who was murdered in prison last year, got into a heated argument with the 6 God’s crew and ended up pissing on the Drizzy.

Caught a body, spent millions appealing your case/While I’m fighting my own, somehow got you home/So drunk in LA, end up pissing on Drake, shit/Fuck it, that’s still my brother since back in the trap house,” TI raps confirming the story.

Now the story is a rumor no more.

Meek Mill also referred to the story in a diss track aimed at Drake. In the 2015 song “Wanna Know,” released at the height of his beef with the Canadian rapper, Meek rapped:

You let Tip homie piss on you in a movie theater nigga, we ain’t forget/Real niggas back in style this shit is lit/This that Ja Rule shit and 50 Cent.”

The new album, The LIBRA, is TI’s 11th solo studio LP, which has 20 songs and features several artists, including Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg, Benny The Butcher, 21 Savage, Young Thug, and Lil Baby.

As reported on CBS Los Angeles, Fontrell Antonio Baines, popularly known as Nuke Bizzle from Memphis, Tennessee, was arrested on Friday. The 31-year-old was arrested on federal charges of fraudulently applying for more than $1.2 million in jobless benefits.

Baines posted a rap music video on YouTube bragging about getting rich from filing EDD claims. The rapper is currently a resident in the Hollywood Hills.

According to a filed affidavit, he was arrested by Las Vegas police and was in possession of eight EDD cards, seven of which were in other people’s names.

The criminal complaint alleges Baines exploited the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance provision of federal coronavirus relief or CARES Act.

The Act was meant to expand unemployment benefits to freelance and gig workers.

According to the affidavit, the investigation turned up 92 preloaded EDD debit cards with more than $1.2 million in fraudulently obtained benefits mailed to Baines’ addresses in Beverly Hills and Koreatown.

Baines has been charged with access device fraud, aggravated identity theft, and interstate transportation of stolen property. He faces a statutory maximum sentence of 22 years in federal prison if convicted as charged.

Why Wasn’t Bobby Shmurda Released from Prison?

Published

on

AP

Court documents reveal the reasons why Bobby Shmurda was denied parole in September.

As reported on TMZ, it appears the judicial system doesn’t believe that Shmurda has been fully rehabilitated.

What does that mean for Shmurda? He will have to serve his entire seven-year-sentence, which ends on December 11, 2021.

Bobby had told the parole board of his plans to resume his rap career and do outreach programs with youth who need guidance. According to transcripts, he told the board that he thinks he’s now a leader.

Shmurda also says he wants to get a high school G.E.D when he gets out.

While applying for his parole, the 26-year-old said he considers others in his decision-making, doesn’t have impulsive behavior anymore, and walks away from bad situations when they occur.

The rapper will now have to put his plans on hold since the board denied his parole during the parole hearing. The board members pointed out that the rapper has had ‘multiple’ violations while in prison, including drug possession, allegedly having a shank, and fighting.

Shmurda was arrested in 2014 and charged with conspiracy to commit murder, reckless endangerment, and drug and gun possession; charges against the others included murder, attempted murder, assault, and drug dealing.
