Other rappers where simply at the wrong place the wrong time. But when the crime happens, what next for the rapper? Below are some rappers that have killed people.

1. Gucci Mane

Radric Delantic Davis popularly as known as Gucci Mane is one of the most famous rappers to have taken a life in our list. Gucci Mane has been arrested a couple of times with reasons ranging from possession of illegal firearms to possession of drugs. However, his most shocking arrest was back in 2005 where the rapper killed a man in apparent self-defense.

Five men reportedly attacked Gucci Mane while he was at a friend’s apartment in Decatur, Ga. According to witnesses, a scuffle between the Trap House creator and the men ensued and shots were fired. Gucci claimed self-defense and prosecutors agreed and dropped the charges. Unfortunately, that didn’t keep him out of jail, where he was up until 2016. The rapper was released and has continued to release hits.

2. Cassidy

American rapper Cassidy whose real name is Barry Adrian Reese is second on our list. The career of the now 38-year-old was just beginning to peak when he dropped his Billboard chart-topper “I’m a Hustler” in 2005. His success was however short-lived following his June 17, 2006 arrest.

A Philadelphia judge declared rapper Cassidy guilty Tuesday afternoon of involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of 22-year-old Desmond Hawkins and sentenced the rapper to 11 and a half to 23 months behind bars, plus probation.

He was also convicted of two counts of aggravated assault and possession of an instrument of crime for his involvement in the shooting. His former friend, fellow rapper Ar-Ab, claims he actually killed Hawkins, and Cassidy “never caught a body.” Cassidy was released from Pennsylvania’s Curran-Fromhold Correctional Facility on March 2, 2006, after serving eight months

3. Cool C

Christopher Douglas Roney ‘Cool C‘ known for his ’90s hit “Life in the Ghetto,” was one of the city’s rising stars in 1996 when he was convicted for the killing of Philadelphia police officer, Lauretha Vaird, during an attempted bank robbery. The trial was speedy and although he maintains his innocence, Cool C was sentenced to death by lethal injection, just two days later.

While on death row, he was granted two stays of execution. One was in 2016 and another in January of 2015. He currently remains incarcerated.

4. Big Lurch

In 2003, American rapper, Big Lurch was sentenced to life behind bars for the murder of his 21-year-old roommate Tynisha Ysais in April 2002. There were signs of mutilation to the woman’s remains as he has eaten parts of her body.

5. Earl Hayes

Aspiring rapper, Earl Hayes, shocked the entertainment industry when he murdered his wife Stephanie Mosley and then took his own life in December 2014. Hayes was a friend of Floyd Mayweather and had been signed to Mayweather’s JR record label.

According to reports, the undefeated boxing champ was FaceTiming with Hayes just minutes before the murder-suicide and watched the rapper shoot himself and his wife. Hayes claimed his wife was cheating on him with Trey Songz.

6. C-Murder

New Orleans rapper C-Murder, brother of hip-hop mogul Master P, was making a name for himself collaborating with the likes of Snoop Dogg when he snapped and pulled out a gun and shot and killed 16-year-old Steve Thomas at a Louisiana nightclub in 2002.

The murder was sentenced to life in prison and is currently serving his time at Louisiana State Penitentiary.

7. Mac Minister

Andre Dow known by his stage name Mac Minister was thrust on the hip-hop scene in 2000. He began making waves not for his music but for a brawl with Bay Area rapper E-40 at the Source Awards that year. Mac even worked with Snoop Dogg and Too $hort.

However, less than a decade later and before he would receive any mainstream success, the rapper ended up back in trouble. Mac appeared on an episode of America’s Most Wanted for the murder of Anthony “Fat-Tone” Watkins and Jermaine “Cowboy” Akins. The killings were allegedly in retaliation of murder of Hip-hop icon Mac Dre.

After nearly a year-long search, Minister was apprehended in 2006 and brought to trial, where he was convicted of two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of conspiracy to murder in 2008. That same year, Mac Minister was sentenced to life in prison without parole.

8. G-Dep

American rapper G.Dep couldn’t live with the fact that he killed someone years before he made a name for himself in rap circles. He turned himself in at an NYPD police station and admitted that he shot and killed a man in a botched robbery attempt in 1993.

The former Bad Boy Records signee turned himself in to “make things right with himself and God“. He pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to 15 years in prison in 2012.

The arrest occurred in 1992, just months after the release of his debut album, Psycho Active. His case made national headlines as the album was used in court as evidence to showcase that the gun photographed on the cover of the LP was the murder weapon.

Lil Baby Shares Wealth Chart That Draws a Graph Starting From Poor to Super Rich

Lil Baby rose to fame in 2017 after his mixtape Perfect Timing became a hit. The 26-year-old has received tons of awards ever since and is still getting nominations for more.

Just like his fellow rappers, the Errybody rapper shows off his expensive Jewellery and cool drip.

The rapper, who has a net worth of five million dollars, decided to share a chart that distinguishes the wealthy and the low classes.

The chart has sparked an online debate that might not end soon. If the graph got made by a famous person who gets a million-dollar worth of gifts on his birthday, we have to listen.

The poorest people range between an income of zero dollars to five hundred thousand dollars in the graph. The next level is the middle class that ranges from $500,000 to 2 million dollars.

After the middle class, we have the upper-middle category. Now, this class ranges between two million to four million US dollars.

According to the The Bigger Picture rapper, those who earn between ten million and thirty million dollars fall under the wealthy class.

There is a ‘poor’ rich people category ($30M-$80M), then the comfortably wealthy class ($80M-$150M), followed by the rich (150-200), seriously rich ($200M-$400M), Truly Rich ($400-$800), Filthy Rich ($800M- $2Billion), before we land to the most fortunate group the Super Rich($ 2Billion and above).

Where do you fall? Let us know below.

Kodak Black and Lil Yachty Exchange Icy Chains to Signify Unity

As a rapper, being icy is paramount. Diamonds, chains, golden teeth, and an overall drip are basic things known for rappers.

Recently, Lil Yachty and ex-convict Kodak Black posed to show off their icy chains. The duo exchanged their chains, and the pictures they posted might be considered the hardest in the rap scene.

Lil Yachty held Kodak’s piece with his hood’s name ‘1800 Block’ inscribed on it while the latter held Yachty’s anchor chain.

The duo did this to show that they are united. Immediately Kodak got released from prison; Yachty gave him a stack of cash amounting to 50,000 dollars as a homecoming gift.

The internet is a phenomenon with a significant influence on people. The serious incident of a woman, Tessica Brown, who applied Gorilla Glue to her hair, was a hit, but not one to be replicated. But a Louisiana man tried it, and the aftermath was dire.

Meet Len Martin, a 37-year-old man who tried to prove Tessica Brown wrong. Martin stated that the Gorilla Glue was not as strong as Tessica was trying to make. To prove her wrong, he took a red cup and applied the Gorilla Glue on it, then placed it on his mouth. His end game was he thought all he would need to remove was to lick it off. Boy, was he wrong!

Martin had to show up to the hospital with the cup stuck to his upper lip. The doctors were luckily able to take the cup off his lips through peeling, to which Martin described it as ‘painful.’ This came with a warning that if his lip did not heal properly, he would have to undergo surgery.

From an internet joke to finding himself in the ER getting a ‘painful peeling’ to get the cup off his lip, Martin had a message for everyone attempting to do the ‘challenge.’ Martin said, “This is definitely not one to try. Let’s just stop this now. … It’s very harmful.”

Martin added that he did not do the stunt for fame, according to what fans had to say. He had learned his lesson just like Tessica Brown had. Here have a look at what fans were throwing his way:
