Kodak Black Addresses Murder Attempt After Red Beam Spotted on His Clothes
Calan Beasley @fortycalproductions

Bill Kahan Kapri, popularly known as Kodak Black, got lucky after Trump gave him a pardon, and although he seems like he is out of the woods, he isn’t. Apart from facing other charges, the rapper was a target recently. At least, that is what many believe.

Kodak Black has made many club appearances for performances since his release, and when a video made rounds of what appeared to be a beam on his clothing, people claimed he was a target.

The rapper’s security team in the clip could be seen grabbing him by the sweater and taking him off stage. Anyone who saw the clip could have assumed a serial killer out to shoot the Wake Up In The Sky.

Since the incident, the 23-year-old rapper came out yesterday to address the issue. Yak explained that there was no beam on his cloth and that the woman who took the video disclosed that someone added the beam effect to the original clip.

Nobody’s brain even gon’ register like that, like, ‘let me put a beam on Yak.’ But I’m happy, though. I’m in a happy space. It ain’t none of y’all business why I’m happy for. I’ve seen all this Lil crazy sh*t, I’ma let y’all think whatever y’all think,

Kodak said in the video clip.

The rapper went forth to say, “Ain’t nobody put no beam on me, that was some crazy effect. The girl sent the real video, and she was mad that y’all did that to my jacket.”

The Last Day In rapper seems to be happier, and we are happy for him. Stay with us for more updates.

Mangoes and Marijuana: What are the Effects?

How Do Cannabis and Myrcene Interact?

For most marijuana users, it’s common trying to find ways to improve or prolong the marijuana high; such methods may include taking a tolerance break, switching strains or even mixing weed with other substances; but the easiest way to get your high elevated, is a quick stop to the grocery store.

You may have heard the rumor that eating mangoes before smoking marijuana can intensify your high, well it turns out there’s some truth to this. Mangoes contain a chemical called myrcene, which is known to alter the effects of marijuana. Most people report that eating mangoes before smoking marijuana can bring on a stronger and longer-lasting high; however, the extent to which mangoes can alter your high is not yet clear.

How Do Cannabis and Myrcene Interact?

Studies suggest that the chemical myrcene found in mangoes can alter the way marijuana affects you. Myrcene is also found in hops, bay leaves, thyme, basil, and cannabis.

Myrcene is a terpene, a chemical responsible for the aromas and flavors of a plant. The linked effect between the cannabinoids in marijuana and its terpenes is known as the entourage effect.

What Does Science Say?

Myrcene is known to have sedative effects and is said to be responsible for the couch-lock effect that tends to come from most indica strains. Cannabis strains with more than 0.5% myrcene are known to bring about much stronger sedative effects. After eating a mango, you receive a boost of myrcene, which explains the intensified effects that come along after smoking weed.

Additionally, myrcene is also known to have analgesic properties. Such that some people tend to use mangoes to boost the pain-relieving effects of marijuana.

How to Use Mango to Increase Your High

How Do Cannabis and Myrcene Interact?

Since it takes some time to digest, you might want to eat the mango before your smoking session. It’s recommended to eat a fresh ripe mango 45 minutes before smoking for the best effects.

However, this depends on the myrcene content of the mango, so you may need to try it several times with the right mangoes before you can experience the full effects.

Another factor to note when you’re planning on eating a mango to intensify your high is your metabolism rate. People with slow metabolism have better chances of feeling the marijuana-mango effect if they consume the mango 2hrs prior to using cannabis. In contrast, those with a faster metabolism may do better if they eat two or three mangoes less than an hour before consuming marijuana.

Which Other Benefits Can Mangoes Offer

Myrcene provides a distinct earthy and fruity flavor and blends nicely with flavorful strains. Eating a mango before you smoke marijuana can also lessen the cravings that come with smoking weed. A single mango has less than 135 calories. While most cannabis users tend to experience cravings for unhealthy junk foods when high, eating a mango is a much better alternative to potato chips and other snacks.

Apart from elevating your high and helping you curb the craving that comes with getting stoned, mangoes can also help decrease the risk of cancerous tumors. The fruit contains polyphenols that help to fight inflammation and lower blood sugar levels. A study conducted by Texas A&M University indicates that polyphenols in mangoes were proven to prevent inflammatory responses in cancerous breast cells. This means the fruit can help reduce the growth of cancerous tumors and cells.

As much as myrcene has been proven to heighten marijuana high, more research is needed to determine how strong the effects of mango-marijuana combo really is.
