Top Crypto Strategist Says Bitcoin Might Not Be The Only Coin To Surpass The Coveted $100,000 Mark

Published

on

Bitcoin will not be the only coin to surpass the $100,000 mark, according to crypto strategist Alex Saunders. He predicted that decentralized finance would get another coin past that mark.

In November, Saunders speculated that Bitcoin (BTC), the leading cryptocurrency, will reach a market value of $100,000 in the next five years. Yesterday, he expressed his optimism at another coin reaching that high-water mark.

Saunders believes that yearn.finance (YFI) will be fueled by decentralized finance past the $100,00 mark.

“$YFI = $100k. $SUSHI to make a big come back. Two of the most misunderstood, yet creative, innovative & driven protocols/teams/communities around. Love how closely they’re working with $AAVE $CREAM $COVER $PICKLE,” Saunders tweeted to his 55k followers.

His tweet was in response to a tweet by YFI creator Andre Cronje about the launch of v2, which will feature further integration with other top decentralized finance protocols.

“I have so much more planned for when v2 launches, custom money markets (yield & insurance), Cream will be a lending reserve into Aave, agnostic Cover for all aTokens, and we can finally put ytrade, yleverage, and leveraged stable coins into production!” Cronje wrote on Twitter.

One of the reasons Saunders is optimistic about YFI is the leadership of Cronje.

Yearn.Finance allows the diversion of liquidity to various decentralized finance protocols, including Aave, Compound, and dYdX, enabling investors to get the best returns.

YFI launched in July and has become one of the best performing cryptocurrencies of 2020. It started at a meager $31.65 and reached an all-time high of $43,768 on September 12. Currently, its value is at around $25,000.

Kanye West's "Yeezy" Former Intern Gets Sued For $500,000 Over Breech Of Contract

Yeezy, which is Kanye West‘s brand, is suing Ryan Inwards for $500,000. Inwards is facing the half-a-million-dollar lawsuit for sharing the billion-dollar clothing brand’s confidential information on social media.

The lawsuit claims that the company asked Inwards severally to take down the images through multiple cease and desist letters, all of which he ignored. Inwards, who is being sued for liquidated damages and punitive damages, had signed an NDA last summer as he became an intern last summer.

Non Disclosure Agreements are usually signed to restrict an individual or individuals from divulging a company or organization’s confidential information. Inwards broke the NDA that he had signed, which in turn prompted the lawsuit.

Apart from the lawsuit, Yeezy, through a judge, will make Inwards turn over all images he has and prohibit him from posting similar pictures.

We currently don’t have the exact picture that Inwards leaked, but from speculation, here are some of the shoes by Yeezy that were released around summer last year.

Wendy Williams Urges Regina Carter To Break Up With YFN Lucci Amid Murder Charge

If there’s a person who always shares their opinion even when no one asked for it, it has to be Wendy Williams. The talk-show presenter offered unsolicited advice to Lil Wayne’s daughter Regina Carter amid her boyfriend’s murder charges.

Williams mocked the socialite for giving our relationship advice on social media, yet she’s only 21 years old.

“We all around here, including the men here, were like, ‘who is she to tell us how to conduct ourselves?’ She’s only 21-years-old, like, we don’t want to hear advice from a 21-year-old privileged– and you are privileged, you know that…Who are you to tell us about relationships? ‘I’m going through a divorce,”

said the TV talk-show presenter.

She mentioned Regina Carter and was for the opinion that Carter breaks up with her boyfriend and distance herself from all the bad publicity. Apart from the murder charges, Williams also felt bugged by the fact that YFN Lucci has four children insinuating his relationship with the 21-year-old was wrong.

“Hopefully, you’re not gonna get back with him,” she said to Reginae. “First of all, it’s wrong because he has four kids and I know your dad did a song with him, so what? Your dad is in trouble himself, I know you know,”

said Wendy Williams addressing Carter.

What would you do? Would you break up with YFN Lucci, or would you risk it all in the name of love?

Remembering Those We Lost in 2020

The past year has been brutal on many counts; it was a year of incredible loss and suffering for most. As we look towards a much better year and the coming of a less disastrous future, it’s necessary to take a moment to commemorate the lives of those we lost.

Among them are rappers, producers, entertainers, and more, who sadly left us within the past year.

We are thankful for their music and contribution to the culture.

1. Lexii Alijai

“Lucious was the love of my life, he was my best friend, my go-to,” said Tre Koast’s girlfriend of nearly two years, “Music was his motivation, being in the studio was like his safe haven almost.” She added.

3. Kobe Bryant

The tragic death of basketball legend Kobe Bryant was heart-wrenching. The 41-year-old father of 4 died in a helicopter crash that took the life of his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, on January 26, 2020.

Von was a rap prodigy who was excellent at delivering spontaneous rhymes and freestyles.

Of course, these weren’t the only prominent characters we lost last year. We also had:
