Watch: U.S. Coast Guard Raid Suspected Narco-Sub In High-Speed Chase

U.S. Coast Guard Raid Suspected Narco-Sub In High-Speed Chase

On June 28, 2019, a suspected narco submarine was spotted in the Eastern pacific by a coast guard aircraft. The video, recorded by a coast guard wearing a helmet camera, shows the one-minute footage.

The dramatic video shows a speeding vessel tearing through the pacific waters as two-speed boats follow them.

A coast guard could be heard shouting (in Spanish) ”Stop your boat” Despite their efforts to stop it, the vessel kept speeding until the speed boats got close enough for the coast guard to jump on.

He pounded the vessel’s hatch with his fist, and a suspected drug dealer emerged with hands in the air, after which the footage stops.

According to the Washington Post, the vessel held more than 17000 pounds of cocaine(valued at about 232 million US dollars).

Lt. Commander Stephen Brickey compared such vessels to a white whale, saying they are pretty rare, and getting one is considered a significant event. An offloading event was set for a Thursday with Vice President Pence in attendance.

It involved other seizures, 39,000 pounds of cocaine, and 933 pounds of marijuana. Together, the total amount of drugs was estimated at a total of $569 million.

Brickey added that smugglers may be armed when caught and can even open a valve to fill the vessel with water and send all the drugs and evidence to the ocean floor.

According to collected data, 80% of drugs entering the country come from the pacific corridor. This goes to show the challenge faced by coast guards.

They are tasked with stemming the flow of contraband to the United States. In 2015 a cargo of 7.7 tones was the largest recorded seizure. Different types of vessels have been spotted including the torpedo, semi submersible and true submarines.

New Xxxtentacion Projects With The Weeknd, Juice Wrld, Lil Uzi Vert In The Works?

Dan Garcia

According to the late rapper’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, who, during a Live stream on X’s account, announced there would be a Lil Uzi Vert, Juice Wrld, and The Weeknd collaboration coming out soon. Bernard also confirmed that the old songs from her son’s Soundcloud would be released.

No release dates have currently been confirmed yet for any of the tracks. Both Juice and X’s previously recorded vocals will seemingly be used. The two artists never recorded any music together when they were alive, but Juice dedicated the song “Legends” released back in 2018 to both X and Lil Peep after they died.

Bernard also mentioned the possibility of X’s hologram being created along the way. The upcoming documentary about X’s life will be accompanied by a soundtrack that will include songs never heard before. The late rapper’s mother is also tracking down X’s lost music.

Is Tekashi’s Music Career Failing?

GOOBA hit maker, Tekashi 6ix9ine, seems to be experiencing a fall in his music career and even love life!

Jade, his girlfriend, was promoting a waist trainer through an Instagram post and in the picture, she could be seen covering Tekashi’s face’s tattoo with her ponytail. The two have been dating since 2018 and them breaking up still remains a speculation.

The Trollz rapper is not new to the  crime scenes. He has faced a lot of charges in his career life. One of them includes sexually assaulting a 13-year-old minor. He used the minor for a sexual performance and posted the videos online.

Tekashi, 18 at the time, turned himself in when he found out she was a minor saying, ‘That tore me apart. My whole life felt like it was coming crashing down. I’m in the interrogation room like, what did I do? Damn, my life is over.”

After a four-year probation and a thousand hours of community service, he would face Firearm charges and be jailed but released early due to the Corona pandemic. He was kept under house arrest because of his Asthma condition.

Tekashi 6ix9ine also admitted to physically abusing Sara Molina his ex girlfriend. His relationship with Jade remains unclear despite Jade covering her body with Tekashi-inspired tattoos and visiting him in jail when he was locked up.

As for his music, his second studio album Tattle tales didn’t seem to make the sales. Dj Akademik, Tekashi’s ride-or-die or according to Nicki Minaj, his romantic partner, the Gummo rapper trolls others on their numbers and he himself didn’t make sales on Tattle Tales. He added that it was a flop. 6ix9ine being the number guy he is, knews what that meant for his rap career.  Apparently Tekashi is a snitch and that might also add to his failure. Is his silence a way of making a comeback though?

The rainbow rapper admitted to taking a pill per day to lose a couple of pounds but he experienced side efadmittleading to him being hospitalized for it. He apparently overdosed on the pills.

GOOBA, a single in the album however, hit number three on the billboard chart but Billboard later disqualified more than 100,000 of Tekashi’s Merchandise bundle.

On 11th September this year, the rapper could be seen on the streets dishing out CDs of the album urging people to listen to it.The Instagram post was captioned, “One way or another image force ya to listen to this! Since ya ain’t want to buy it.”

It didn’t stop there. He tore posters that advertised Tattle tales and captioned the video, “my mum still thinks im a winner.”

What is your take on the rappers career? Should he keep rapping or focus on something else? Talk to us, we love it when you do.

Xxxtentacion’s Mother Asks Fans If They’d Want An X Hologram For Live Shows

Rapper XXXTentacion had a solid fan base of loyal devotees even before his death. Understandably, after his death on June 18, 2018, his fans grew even more potent. And now X’s fans might soon get a chance to see him long after his death in the form of a hologram.

On Sunday, October 25, the late rapper’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, conducted a Q&A with fans on the Discord chat service, during which she asked how fans would feel about having an XXXTentacion hologram presented.

Details about the Q&A session between X’s mom and his fans circulated the internet and garnered some mixed responses. While others showed excitement and incline toward the idea, some viewers accused Bernard of allegedly trying to make another money grab off her son’s legacy.

Bernard has been accused on other several occasions by fans who believe that she is using her son to make money and garner fame. X’s mom faced similar accusations just weeks ago when she used XXXTentacion’s memorialized Instagram account to promote a music video dubbed “Chase / Glass Shards,” featuring X and Ikabodveins, an artist currently being managed by Bernard.

The song appeared on X’s fourth and last studio album ‘Bad Vibes Forever,’ which was released on streaming platforms on December 6, 2019. In support of the album release, an event in X’s honor was held in the form of a pop-up museum. A part of the exhibition, however, caused disregard among fans; this is due to the fact that the event featured the car in which the rapper was murdered.

Further on the  Q&A chat on Discord, Bernard  shared that she has projects of XXXTentacion collaborations with other artists including The Weeknd, Juice Wrld, and Lil Uzi Vert.

Kendrick Lamar Signs New Deal with Universal Music Publishing

13-time Grammy award winner Kendrick Lamar has signed an exclusive global administration deal with Universal Music Publishing Group, which was announced on Tuesday this week by the company.

Having been named Variety’s first hitmaker of the year back in 2017, Lamar is undoubtedly one of the millennium’s most influential artists. The rapper, who has been flaring rumors concerning his pgLang recording label, which includes artists like Baby Keem among others, has had fans speculating and eagerly waiting for a new project to come out soon. This would be the rapper’s first release since 2017’s ‘Damn.’

The new publishing deal is most likely to increase speculation about Lamar’s long-awaited fourth full-length album. However, no further details about the artist’s new work have been forthcoming. An admin agreement does not mean Lamar will have to sign over his rights to UMPG. The rapper will retain full ownership of his copyright as UMPG will just be handling the administrative services.

When speaking about the Top Dawg artist, the UMPG Chairman and CEO Jody Gerson said, “Kendrick Lamar is not only one of the greatest lyricists that has ever lived, but he has done as much or more than any artist to promote much needed change in our society through music.” Gerson went ahead to speak about Kendrick’s lyrical and songwriting prowess and how much she is looking forward to working with him.

The “Damn” artist has written and produced 14 songs for the soundtrack to “Black Panther,” a Marvel superhero film, for which he won Academy and Grammy Awards.

Lamar was recently involved in a rumor about him leaving Top Dawg Entertainment to focus more on his label pgLang. The rapper addressed the subject in a video shared on the Top Dawg Instagram Page.
